Clove leaf is a slender evergreen tree with large leaves. The clove is the calyx that is a long bud with a pink corolla at the tip when the corolla fades the calyx becomes deep red in color. Clove trees are believed to grow in Indonesia and Moluccas, which was known as the Spice Islands. The oil looks like olive oil and is completely transparent in color. The name 'clove' is derived from the Latin word 'clavus,' meaning nail, as the buds look like them.

Cumin Seed Oil is scientifically known as Cuminum cyminum. Its colour ranges from clear to pale yellow with spicy and penetrating smell. The main chemical components of cumin oil are cuminic, cymene, dipentene, limonene, phellandrene and pinene. Cumin is a small annual herb about 50cm (20 inches) high, with deep green, narrow feathery leaves and tiny white or pink flowers, followed by small oblong seeds.

Helichrysum essential oil is extracted from the Helichrysum italicum/Helichrysum Angustifolium plant that mainly grows in European regions of France, Spain and Italy. This plant belongs to the Asteraceae family. This oil is watery and its color is pale yellow although the color may range from pale yellow to red. Besides having a tea and honey undertone, Helichrysum essential oil has a characteristic straw-like fruity aroma. Extracted by steam distillation method from dried or fresh flowering head clusters of the Helichrysum plant, this oil is also known as Everlasting Oil.

Helichrysum Oil is packed with properties such as anti-inflammatory, astringent, anti-allergenic, expectorant, antispasmodic, diuretic, analgesic, cytophylactic, nervine and cholagogue. Although the oil is non-poisonous and non-sensitizing, it shouldn't be used on children under the age of 12.
